Nidaa Lone

Nidaa Lone is Head of Edelman Abu Dhabi and is based in the Emirate.

Nidaa joined Edelman from Haleon, the world’s largest consumer health business, where she was Global Head of External Communications. She joined the business while it was still part of GSK, and helped form the communications team as well execute the group’s demerger from GSK, the largest in Europe for over 20 years. In her role, she advised senior leadership on corporate positioning, and led the firm’s media global engagement. Prior to Haleon, Nidaa spent 10 years with a global communications consultancy as Managing Director in London, and has also worked in New York and Germany.

She has provided communications counsel for some of the world’s largest businesses across a range of sectors including financial services, pharma and healthcare, natural resources, and consumer industries.

Nidaa has extensive capital markets experience, across M&A transactions, IPOs, fundraisings and investor activity. Nidaa holds a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and began her career in Corporate Finance with KPMG.

Abu Dhabi is the regional HQ for Edelman Middle East, the only international agency with their regional HQ in the Emirate.
